Associated Press is a world leader in newsroom production software, with ENPS (Electronic News Production System) present in 800+ installations around the world. ENPS supports broadcasters working in more than 60 languages in over 500 newsrooms in 42 countries.

AP invites applications for the position of European Sales Manager – ENPS International, based in London.

The European Sales Manager will be part of the London-based international sales team for ENPS and responsible for new sales of ENPS software as well as managing existing ENPS customers in Europe.
• New sales and marketing of ENPS and services in Europe; product presentations, workflow discussions, channel management, financial quotations, tender responses, handover of successful sales to go-live and support teams.
• Account management of the existing European customer base, including contract renewals, communication of development and upgrades, overseeing support calls and financial management.
The role would suit a candidate with a predominantly technical background and good customer-facing skills, whether already in a sales role or not. The candidate must also be creative, innovative, results-focused and flexible to work in a friendly and ambitious team. They should be comfortable presenting technology-based solutions to technical, commercial or editorial audiences.

Sales experience ideal or significant customer-facing experience in a product/support role and ready to move into sales. Familiarity with broadcast technology market internationally; exposure to newsroom computer systems especially ENPS; prior experience with technologies that integrate with an NRCS via the MOS Protocol - would all also be valuable.
