BBC Extend Scheme 2012
Exclusively for disabled people, Extend is an award-winning, BBC-wide work placement scheme which offers appropriately experienced and/or qualified people a great opportunity to gain six months' paid work experience within the BBC.
Although the scheme doesn't necessarily lead to a full-time job, last year 65% gained further work at the BBC.
From September 2012, 32 placements will be available across the UK, in both programming areas and programme support areas. You will need to match the criteria for the placement as well as demonstrate a keen interest in broadcasting and knowledge of BBC output.
Applications to be received by 29th April.
Interviews are expected to be held between 23rd May and 29th June.
