Leading the UK's most successful children’s channel, this role is responsible for driving the CBBC brand in a multiplatform environment to bring the very best UK drama, entertainment and factual programmes to the 6-12 year old audience.
Children's content is one of the BBC's priorities and we are looking for someone who can build on our current success, and ensure CBBC's future success.
We want someone with a clear vision for CBBC, exceptional creative and editorial judgment, and who can inspire producers to create high quality, innovative and distinctive TV and web content for the CBBC audience.
A real passion for broadcasting and online content, a deep understanding of this special audience, as well as a strong track record in strategic leadership are also essential to this role. The role is part of the senior management team of BBC Children's.
