With titles like Jaws, Peter Kay, American Pie Reunion and 30 Rock in our library, Universal Pictures boasts a huge variety of films, TV and special interest shows, not to mention a catalogue of classics. Joining us as Programming Coordinator, you’ll make sure our customers can get their hands on their favourite DVDs; reinforcing our reputation as leaders in home entertainment.

About the role
In this key role supporting the Production Executive, you’ll oversee the coordination and delivery of DVD, Blu-ray and digital files. It’s all about transforming TV, Film, Catalogue and Special Interest assets into finished masterpieces, ready to be delivered to the market. Besides offering administrative support to your manager, you’ll draw on your project management skills and work closely with third party manufacturers to manage the entire production process – maintaining project timelines, carrying out quality assessments and dealing with technical issues as they arise. You’ll also be responsible for overseeing menu design and approval. That calls for close liaison with licensors; briefing their design specification into the creative team and getting the work approved for release. Beyond that, you’ll be expected to assist with the production of in-house filming projects and lend a hand on location. So you’ll have every opportunity to develop your skills in all areas of programming.

About you
Thanks to your experience in a similar environment, whether it’s film, TV, DVD production or post production, you’ll have first-rate technical knowledge backed up by a real understanding of the asset production process. Creative, innovative and always striving for improvement, you’ll be someone who will make a real impact as you build relationships with colleagues, licensors and artists at all levels. You’ll need to be hugely passionate about the industry, commercially aware, have an eye for detail, be highly organised and have the drive to make an impact from day one.
