Head of Planning – Box TV
It’s heavyweight stuff. Managing a team of planners working across Box TV – the company behind some of the UK’s leading music television channels including 4Music, The Box, Kiss, Heat, Smash Hits, Magic and Kerrang!
But it’s heavyweight stuff with a light touch. That’s because you’re working with people who love what they do. Who bring fresh and original thinking – as well as a real passion for music - to their jobs. Who believe work and fun can (and should) go together.
So that’s us. Here’s you: an ambitious planning professional who can provide the vision and insight to drive strong channel performance. Working closely with insight teams, you’ll deliver scheduling that builds audiences across the 16 to 34 year old market. We also need you to oversee Acquisitions and Licensing as you identify programme types and specific targets.
Strong broadcasting experience (probably gained in channel planning) is a must, along with a good knowledge of advertising sales. Let’s just say that you know what it takes to manage a channel. Your background doesn’t need to be in music TV, - what matters is that balance of creative energy with sound strategic and analytical skills – though of course, you’re also going to need an understanding of younger audiences and what’s going on in their world.
