Customers include world-renowned major broadcasters and telco providers.
As Master-Control Room (MCR) Engineer reporting to the Shift Leader: Satellite Networks, you’ll join a 24-hour operational team, involved in regular weekend and night working, responsible for the operation of customer services, including reporting equipment and system problems and drafting incident reports. Your exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail will complement strong interpersonal skills, including a good telephone manner, for handling customers and third parties. Able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment as part of a small team, you should also have the ability to prepare clear and concise fault reports. We’d also ideally like:
• some knowledge of service and Incident management methods (INFRA)
• a clear understanding of the relationship between provider, satellite operator and customer
• CP/IP knowledge
• some experience of automated monitoring solutions (SMTP, Closed Contact, Applications and principles).
