Scheduling Manager – Sky Arts HD
TV never stands still at Sky. Whether it’s award-winning drama on Sky Atlantic, innovative seasons on Sky Movies or critically acclaimed events on Sky Arts, we’re passionate about bringing viewers the best.
We are currently looking for someone to be responsible for the creation, and management, of Sky Arts scheduling strategy, taking responsibility for the delivery of the channels audience, financial, and platform targets. You will also heavily input on commissioning and acquisition decisions. Due to the specific genre of the channel a passion and for arts content is essential.
You’ll be passionate about bringing viewers’ the best. You will need to have excellent communication skills as liaising scheduling plans with key departments across Sky is vital. Having the ability to work to fixed deadlines with the capability to ensure the scheduling team keep all necessary information up-to-date and accurate in accordance with deadlines is key.
Additionally you will need to line manage the Sky Arts schedulers, ensuring personal development, training and professional support. You will collaborate with the scheduling teams for the other Sky entertainment channels to support broader scheduling and Network Planning initiatives and future projects including systems and IT development.
