As part of our continued growth, NEP Broadcasting is looking to appoint an Operations Director based out of our UK centre of operations near London.

Reporting to the Managing Director this role will assume responsibly for all UK operational delivery with full participation in the strategic decision-making of the business.

The role presents an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Operations Director to join the Senior Management Team. You will be helping to further augment the delivery of our already unmatched client service whilst also supporting our growth and expansion objectives over the next five years. Providing leading Broadcasters and Production Companies with facilities, solutions and services, requires time-critical execution together with the collaborative approach of a talented workforce on base and on location.

You will be responsible for the overall management of our assets, planning, scheduling, cost control, business analytics and processes to assist with the proficient delivery of our objectives.

Working closely with our technical sales teams, engineering and fleet operatives you will head a team which provides unrivalled service to our clients. NEP Visions, Roll to Record & NEP Cymru are well-known brands in the sector and are recognised leaders in the field, and form part of the NEP UK Group.

Required Experience

You will be educated to degree level and/or a solid combination of at least 8 years relevant business experience. That experience should include a background in finance, operations & logistics. Knowledge of television production management, planning, technology, equipment, and facilities would be an advantage. You will be able to demonstrate that you have proven leadership skills, are IT literate, able to listen, make clear decisions and that you possess exceptional organisational skills. Being able to prioritise and stay focused on service will be a prerequisite.

Your finance background will mean you are adept at running a budget, analysing performance and finding beneficial ways to add value both for the company and to our clients.
