About the role

The marketing team at Nickelodeon is creative, digitally savvy, forward thinking, innovative and most importantly dedicated to engaging with kids in the most fun and playful way possible.   No day is the same in marketing at Nick, kids come first and our success is driven by our audience focused philosophy, campaigns and initiatives.

  

The Brand Manager is a champion of our brand and audience, a kid-expert who is committed to consistently understanding our audiences; their relationships, aspirations concerns, interests and media habits.

This role is instrumental in all channel relationships, an essential conduit connecting all internal departments and key external stakeholders such as affiliates and commercial partners either through supporting the Head of Marketing or through projects they lead themselves.  They need to be a strong team player, always supporting other members of the team and championing collaborative and supportive working.

This is an exciting and challenging role full of opportunity that requires leadership, creativity, self-motivation, project management, strong media and campaign planning knowledge and attention-to-detail. 

What will you be doing

Plan and execute brand and tactical marketing campaigns and activity


Connect with the wider Nickelodeon and VIMN divisions in the delivery of projects and developing relationships with external stakeholders such as agencies, media owners and affiliates


Drive media strategy for each channel brand with agency to achieve benchmarks


Passion for creative, forward thinking ideas in the digital space – especially around youth and kids


Develop and use all possible routes to market to reach our audience and make an impact – affiliates, partners and media relationships


Work across all Nickelodeon brands and products


Management of multiple projects and stakeholders at any one time


Strategically minded: Use audience insight and ratings analysis to develop activity that targets, engages and drives results, managing budgets and agencies


Management,and reporting of budgets


Manage 2 marketing executives and assistant


Close working relationship with social media marketing manager

What skills and experience will you have

Experience working directly with media agencies

Excellent multi-taksing skills, experience working on multiple campaigns at one time

Experience delivering full 360 campaigns across TV, Digital and Social

Excellent communication skills

Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders

Strong presenting experience

Strong understanding of social media platforms

Would be great if you have

Previous experience withing the media and entertainment industry

Youth or kids marketing experience
