JOB SUMMARY

The “Manager, Commercial & Creative Partnerships” role within the Digital/Multiplatform department will drive our monetization efforts across digital platforms through brand integration.

You will be the link between our editorial team and internal/external sales teams - and will be tasked to develop, package and present original creative solutions by leveraging your full range of storytelling abilities.

You’ll also work hand in hand with Creative, Legal and Product to help our partners realize these concepts. You’re a builder, doer and problem solver with a passion and understanding for branded content and live to create ideas and transform them into actual results.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reports into Senior Manager Partnerships, Digital

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • First contact for sales requests
  • Bring together relevant team members to develop ideas and respond to project briefs
  • Draft pitch documents collaborating with the commercial team
  • Attend pitch meetings when required
  • Orchestrate cross-functional/cross-regional teams to realize projects with strong attention to detail
  • Issue call for response and facilitate engagement and delivery from creative/editorial team
  • Work with the team’s project manager on delivering sales/sponsorship campaigns
  • Secure compliance with rights, usage and legal requirements
  • Ensure campaigns meet agreed targets
  • Resolve issues, track and optimize performance
  • Be an internal advocate for the partners
  • Create cases studies and show reels
  • Keep track of all the concepts the editorial team comes up with and create monetization opportunities around it
  • Initiate creative sessions with the wider team
  • Continually inspire our internal and external sales departments and their clients with proactive branded content and native advertising concepts with game-changing ideas and plans to get them executed
  • Partner with others on the team to make your and their ideas shine
  • Be a thought leader on how social technology is fundamentally changing brand marketing
  • Uncover insights, monitor trends, research innovations

ROLE-SPECIFIC SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES

  • Extensive understanding and experience in brand marketing/advertising
  • Proven experience in branded content/native advertising within the entertainment/music genre
  • Experience of managing external partner or talent
  • Demonstrable experience and skill at managing multiple commercial projects
  • In touch with emerging social trends, youth audience behaviours and technologies
  • Understanding of legal and copyright issues
  • Experience bringing an idea on a white board and presentation by leveraging your full range of storytelling abilities
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels internally and externally
