This is a permanent role, however we are willing to consider candidates who are interested in undertaking this role as a 12 month fixed-term contract.

A Global organisation supplying business and financial information, financial markets knowledge and technology solutions, seeks an experienced Broadcast Projects Engineer to join a brand new team, working on a variety of projects from design right through to a fully supportable operation.

The Role
The successful Broadcast Projects Engineer will be working as part of a small experienced team, initially working on an enterprise-wide global project to bring high definition capability to the entire organisation. The role will be quite varied and the TV Broadcast Projects Engineer will be involved with looking at the next generation technologies for television. This is a dynamic environment, offering Broadcast Engineers the opportunity to work on new and exciting cutting edge projects. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about broadcasting and possess high-energy levels and a willingness to research best technologies, with a good awareness of new and emerging technologies. As a new team, this individual will be expected to be highly pro-active in their approach to the role and is best suited to a self-managing, responsible individual with this go-getting attitude.

This initial Broadcast project is global and as such, the successful Engineer must be willing to travel internationally as part of the role.

The Broadcast Engineer will have:
• 5 years’ + solid experience in Broadcast Projects engineering
• An ability to understand and modify either AutoCAD or Visio drawings
• A full driving license
• A willingness to travel internationally
