The National Film and Television School is one of the most respected film, television and new media schools in the world. The Hollywood Reporter places the NFTS in the top four non-American schools in its 2012 ’25 Best Film Schools’ world ranking.

The School delivers more specialist production and post-production courses than any other film school in the world. In many cases these are unique at MA level, such as Television Entertainment and Entrepreneurial Producing.

In partnership with Sky, the School is launching a new Diploma in Broadcast Production. The course will prepare students to work in a multicamera studio environment as either a Vision Mixer, or a Camera/ Lighting or Sound specialist. The course includes a six-week internship with Sky and some of the modules are taught at Sky Studios. Sky also guarantees to employ at least one graduate of the course each year.

Applications are invited for the position of Senior Tutor Broadcast Production within the award winning Television Entertainment department at the NFTS. Expertise is required in media electronics and broadcast systems specialising in video and technologies. Applicants will preferably have extensive experience in multicamera studio production for major broadcasters at Technical Manager level and be exceptional communicators possessing excellent interpersonal skills.
