• Manage listings across the UK, WE and CEEMEA, collaborating with the local press offices to ensure programme priorities are supported with listings and highlights information, including writing, editing and copy-checking all listings and programme highlights required in English for monthly schedules

• Day to day management of the listings team, to ensure deadlines are met, and programme highlights and programme information are created to an extremely high standard, which are then submitted for translation into local languages across WE and CEEMEA

• Ensure there is a consistent and up-to-date, compelling brand ‘voice’ for each channel through listings and programme information – including day-to-day management of external Listings Agency in the formatting, translating and distribution of EPG data

• Manage relationships with internal clients – including regional PRs, Language Operations, Programming and Schedule Planning – and managing quarterly reviews with the team across the regions on Listings Agency performance, and lead on any required improvement solutions

• Manage with the team, quarterly listings audits for the UK press office, checking and compiling title lists of magazines, newspapers and website which publish monthly/ weekly TV listings

• Manage with the external listings agency and local press teams, the maintenance of EMEA/ CEEMEA listings and highlights distribution lists, working alongside project and channel launch groups to provide listings expertise on special projects

• Work with the Publicity and Marketing Support Manager on an internal project, developing and improving Discovery’s advanced metadata to meet EPG demands

• Role will require working daily with a number of internal databases including IBMS and PDS (training will be provided).

Personal Requirements:

• A proven track-record within broadcasting or media
• Superb copy-writing skills with excellent attention to detail
• Management experience and the ability to work on an international level
• Agency management experience preferred
• Proven record of working under pressure to tight deadlines and building strong relationships
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Comfortable working with IT databases
• Sound knowledge and understanding of advanced metadata, and its importance
