Barbican Film presents an exciting mix of new releases, special film seasons, projects and talks. The Cinema Administration Manager is a senior post responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Head of Cinema and Cinema Department, and coordinating and managing the flow of information between the department and other internal and external stakeholders. 

You will be an exceptional senior administrator who will support the cinema department while demonstrating a proactive and hands-on approach to a diverse workload in an environment where team playing is essential.  You will have experience working within an arts environment as well as the ability to work with internal partners in an efficient manner, such as the Barbican’s marketing, communications, creative learning and fundraising teams. With strong business and financial acumen you will be comfortable working with budgets, funding applications, marketing copy, business plans and other strategy documents, employing written communication skills of a high standard.  Acting as an advocate of the department, the successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build relationships with a wide range of people including senior managers, artistic partners and sponsors, demonstrating a knowledge of and enthusiasm for film and the wider visual arts scene.
