If you are an experienced Broadcast Technician, looking to work on a fixed-term basis, utilising cutting-edge broadcast technology in a highly creative environment, we have an exciting opportunity to join UppAIR – Uppingham School TV and Radio - THE TV and radio station for Uppingham School and the surrounding community.

The station, run by pupils, serves to bring the work of the Uppingham community into sharp contemporary focus, adding a new and exciting dimension to school life and providing a stimulating creative outlet for students.

As Senior Broadcast Technician, you will be responsible for the general infrastructure, timetabling, delivery, recording, training and general administration of the UppAIR network. This will include responsibility for production schedules, editing, radio administration, audio imaging, location recording, and the recording of promotional videos.

The successful candidate will have experience of a busy and sometimes pressurised studio environment and be confident with a wide range of software including audio and film editing packages (e.g. Final Cut Pro, Logic and Pro tools).
