Protagonist Pictures is looking for an International Sales Manager to join the sales team and sell feature films to specific territories. This position will report to the Managing Director, Sales & Distribution.  
A competitive candidate will have 3+ years of international sales/ distribution experience, excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, a passion for new media and evolving distribution models and audio-visual content of all kinds. Candidate must be extremely detail oriented, have a willingness to work hard and be a good team player. Experience in Rentrack, iRights, and foreign languages are highly desirable.
 
The Role

  • Direct responsibility for sales in specific territories.
  • Work in conjunction with Managing Director, Sales & Distribution on certain territories.
  • Attendance at major film markets and festivals.
  • Read scripts for acquisitions potential.
  • Put down estimates for territories he/she handles directly.
  • Keep up department’s administration  (rights database, sales documents, producer reports) with the help of the sales assistant.
  • Research emerging digital platforms.
  • Work closely with marketing to oversee the release of a film in his/ her territories.
