Sales Coordinator, IMG Entertainment Sales  

The IMG Media Entertainment Sales Department is responsible for the global sales of scripted and non-scripted entertainment programming.  Amongst others, projects include the multi-award-winning BBC / AMC hit mini-series THE NIGHT MANAGER, Amazon’s THE GRAND TOUR, and the upcoming Beau Willimon/Sean Penn series THE FIRST for Hulu and Channel 4.  Collaborating with multiple sister divisions across WME|IMG as well as with independent producers worldwide, IMG Entertainment Sales is rapidly expanding its pipeline of premium content.  Senior executives are based in Los Angeles and London, and work closely with IMG’s local sales personnel across the globe.  

Based in Chiswick Park and reporting to the Head of Entertainment Sales and Partnerships and the VP of Scripted Programming, the Sales Coordinator will monitor and track all sales activity and negotiations and communicate sales strategies to the wider team. Responsibilities will include:

  • Organising and maintaining show-by-show projections database and internal “Pipeline” reports for new programming opportunities.  
  • Monitoring industry data and program ratings performance to support sales and forecasting processes.  Sending out periodic “News from the Industry” updates to the Entertainment Sales team, highlighting relevant news and providing links to articles and research.
  • Recording and tracking status of sales strategies, negotiations and contracts.  Assisting in the preparation of sales presentations.  
  • Communicating sales strategy directives from sales management to field sales team on a regular basis, as well as managing the flow of scripts and promotional materials to the sales team.  
  • Tracking sales material distribution among buyers, and responses to programming for producing partners, via the sales team.
  • Organising, compiling and updating sales forecasts, including the Entertainment Sales Business Plan.  Preparing management for quarterly Projection Freezes and other important checkpoints.
  • Assisting London-based executives with expense reports, travel arrangements and appointment scheduling as required.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in current media industry development/trends and will have the ability to identify and analyse new business opportunities. They will have superior organizational, communication and analytical skills with a proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint. They will also be a professional, high-energy team player with the ability to build and maintain both internal and external relationships. A strong interest in television and the entertainment industry, with the desire to learn, grow and contribute every day is crucial for success in this role.
