HotCam are a dynamic and progressive professional broadcast camera, audio, lighting equipment hire, crewing and production services company located in West London. We are looking to recruit a Production Manager. You will be required to have at least 3 years TV broadcast production and technical experience and skills to support the implementation of simultaneous projects and the mobilisation of equipment and crews for location and studio multi-camera productions; both domestic and international.

You will support the company in implementing and maintaining the highest standards in the delivery of support to HotCam employees, clients, suppliers and contractors.

Key requirements for the role include:

  • Responsible, reliable, enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated and dependable
  • Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of production management including budgeting, scheduling and processes in a broadcast production environment
  • Practical understanding of all related disciplines in the broadcast and film industry, encompassing location, live studio and post production
  • Confident and flexible attitude
  • Ability to serve as a point of contact person for executive management, managers, employees and clients
  • Ability to communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to maintain, facilitate, and expand on sustainable relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills including, verbal, written and diplomacy skills for communicating with clients, company, technicians, crew and suppliers
  • Up to date knowledge of broadcast technical equipment
  • Outstanding management, leadership, planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to assist with company development
  • Ability to strategise, instigate and perform specific duties as may be assigned by the Executive Management
  • Ability to network and instigate new client business opportunities
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Excellent customer services, negotiating skills, appropriate mathematical skills and ability to manage fiscal responsibilities; including; working closely with Executive Management, Department Heads and Accounts to ensure purchase ordering, invoicing, approving supplier payments, petty cash, expenses are all completed in a timely fashion
  • Computer literacy, proficient typing skills and knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft 365, PowerPoint and aptitude to learn our proprietary software management system
  • Ability to maintain discretion and strict confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to perform and work under pressure
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise work flow
  • Excellent and accurate data entry skills
  • Positive attitude
