Manage the activities of the junior engineer.
Plan and document changes to, and developments of, broadcast infrastructure.
Ensure studio output of live and recorded material meets required technical standards.
Specify, after consultation with the various departments (management, production, sound, lighting, and postproduction), the necessary equipment to realise a project within the available budget.
Install, configure and integrate any rental equipment.
Configure the existing infrastructure to fulfill production requirements, including but not limited to: Studer sound desk, Monitor stack, Multi-viewers, Matrices, Vision Mixer, Communications, Data/Internet connections, Floor monitors etc.
Connect third party equipment (Graphics, Autocue, LED walls etc.).
Make line bookings with SiS, arrange the delivery and install Nimbra encoder for live transmissions.
Manage the technical aspects of productions. Troubleshoot and solve any problems arising during a production.
Document and save show set-ups for re-use.
