Job Description

The Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing works in an agency model as a specialist out of the office of University Marketing & Communications exclusively supporting our internal client UVU Athletics. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Marketing and serves UVU Athletics by understanding, advising, creating, and executing the strategic needs of UVU Athletics.

This position develops and implements an aggressive marketing, advertising, and promotion plan for all assigned sport programs and will have a strong focus on increasing revenue, fan attendance, in-game and pre-game experiences, and ticket sales. This position will be charged to increase awareness, engagement, and conversion through integrated marketing strategies across events, traditional, and digital tactics. This position works with various levels of personnel within the areas of graphic design, photography, broadcast, ticketing, loyalty programming, digital media, athletics, public relations, and development. Marketing strategies are envisioned and executed to cohesively support game day operations and experiences for all audiences.

Graduation from an accredited institution with a Bachelor's degree, plus one year of marketing/design experience OR a combination of relevant education and experience totaling five years is required.
