Job Description


The Senior Broadcast Engineer will be responsible for supporting all production systems while helping build and maintain a world class broadcast facility. The successful candidate shall possess advanced level troubleshooting skills and will be tasked with managing systems integration projects, solving problems, tracking issues, and supporting production environments; including - studios, shading PCRs, post production, audio, transmission, graphics, facilities, and core infrastructure.


  • Provide support services for all broadcast technology and lead systems integration projects
  • Adhere to the Engineering process and build standards
  • Prioritize competing high-profile projects with a focus on deliverables and deadlines
  • Maintain broadcast network infrastructure and IP-based technology
  • Provide oversite on critical power systems UPS, generators, and power distribution
  • Daily evaluation of physical plant to confirm meets all functional, technical standards and current needs
  • Coordinate support efforts, troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Ensure all support issues are accurately tracked
  • Participate in project planning and team meetings
  • Lead urgent projects quickly utilizing available resources to achieve project goals
  • Research new technology and optimized workflows to keep Golf Channel on the cutting edge
  • Provide documentation and operating procedures of new systems and equipment
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners, clients departments, and vendors

  • Qualifications/Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications
  • Significant network level broadcast support experience (equivalent experience acceptable)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, competing priorities, and tight deadlines
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience maintaining broadcast equipment, computer systems, and networks
  • REMI or At Home style production experience preferred
  • Ability to research, assess, and bench test new technology
  • Ability to foster a service-oriented culture focused on teamwork and collaboration
  • Experience with purchasing/procurement, inventory control, and asset management
  • Possess strong engineering, IT/networking, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions
  • Professionalism and ability to be helpful and maintain composure under pressure
